Keep in touch
Last November I decided things had to change. After dealing with diabetes, neuropathy, and high blood pressure (not such a great combo for someone immersed in athletics for 35 years and at one time making decisions about employment based on its proximity to the gym), it was time to take control and make my health a priority.
My athletic career ended my freshman year in college after suffering an awful femur fracture, but I was able to rally and move on. The fracture healed well; however, the accident has created a few challenges with overall body posture, movement and range of motion.
This issue has now been addressed with the help of my Ortho-Kinetics® Trainer, Scott Fletcher, and through the Ortho-Kinetics® Assessment. I had been to a few different places trying to find the right fit to keep me interested long term, and when I joined TELOS this past March, I knew it was the place for me. I have shed 35 pounds this year and feel better than I have in a long time. My health is very good according to my physician, and I will be off all medications this summer.
TELOS has been an awesome and inspiring place to exercise and regroup. I also love the fact that my office is just a couple of exits north! I’m as serious as ever about nurturing my body and planning for my future, and I owe considerably to TELOS, its staff and resources. Thank you so much for this gift!
