TELOS Offers You One Of The
Finest Pilates Experiences On The Planet
What is Pilates?
The Pilates method was developed by Joseph H. Pilates (1880-1967). Mr. Pilates’ influences were drawn from the sports of boxing, diving, gymnastics, and the study of yoga. Pilates is a specialized form of resistance training utilizing a combination of unique equipment and exercises performed in specific sequence on the mat.
There are over 500 exercise options to deliver a varied and invigorating workout. This method is designed to challenge an individual to develop core and trunk strength as well as overall muscle tone. Benefits include improved posture, coordination, strength, stability, and stamina. TELOS’ Power Pilates instructors work as an integral part of the Team TELOS to ensure that each individual achieves optimum results.

Group Classes
Pilates Mat Classes
Power Pilates Dallas offers a variety of group class options for those
individuals who enjoy training in a group setting. Mat classes focus on utilizing one’s body weight against gravity in a series of movements performed on the mat. These exercises are designed to challenge core strength and stability.
Pilates Equipment Classes
These group classes are created to utilize the resistance of the Pilates equipment. Come experience the benefit of adding the resistance of the springs to enhance your results. Reformer and Tower classes are conducted on two of the many spring-based pieces of Pilates equipment. The Reformer’s moving base challenges an individual’s balance, while the springs on the Tower unit provide resistance to help build strength. By incorporating the use of the equipment, one can elevate their level of progress, not only in their Pilates practice but also in their other activities.
*Previous experience on the Pilates equipment is suggested to attend any equipment class.
