Therapy
Ortho-Kinetics® Therapy is the system of integrating specialized manual therapies with advanced assessment methods and specific corrective exercise. Ortho-Kinetics® Therapy will help to correct postural deviations, treat muscular imbalances, relieve pain and improve movement performance. Our therapists are skilled at combining different forms of treatments prior, during and post exercise to gain optimal results from each training session.
Despite the incredible effectiveness that Ortho-Kinetics® Training has shown, many of the muscular imbalances and joint limitations discovered through the Ortho-Kinetics® Assessment process can not totally be corrected through any form of exercise training or physical therapy alone. Most medical and fitness professionals agree that faster progress towards improving joint function, decreasing pain, increasing movement ability and enhancing performance is accomplished when integrating certain specialized manual therapies.
Ortho-Kinetics® Therapy is designed to offer wide range of specialized manual therapies that are integrated with our Ortho-Kinetics® Training and work seamlessly with our in house Chiropractor, Massage Therapists and Pilates Trainers. Ortho-Kinetics® Trainers and Therapists are also trained to work in tandem with outside Medical Doctors, Orthopedic Surgeons, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers and Strength Coaches. We strive to form synergistic professional relationships dedicated to best serving the mutual client and patient’s needs.
Ortho-Kinetics® Therapists are dedicated to personally providing, a variety of different manual therapies and treatment techniques that are integrated with advanced assessment methods and specific corrective exercise in order to achieve the best results possible for their clients. Presently most State Laws including in Texas legally requires that any provider who offers any “hands-on” manual therapies, tissue treatments or palpitation techniques MUST have a valid license to do so. Therefore, all Ortho-Kinetics® Therapists must first be a licensed entity such as a Chiropractor, Physical Therapist or Massage Therapist. As such, many of our Ortho-Kinetics® Therapists will have received training in administering other therapies and different soft tissue techniques such as Myofacial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure, Shiatsu, and basic Rolfing. These techniques then can be integrated with other specialized manual therapies to help realign posture, correct muscular imbalances, decrease pain and improve movement performance.
(Active Release Techniques) is an active therapy recognized by many therapists and professionals as the most effective form of release work available. ART had been successfully used in Chiropractic Practices, Physical Therapy clinics, and by Athletic Trainers with various sports teams for numerous years. ART has continued to gain popularity and notoriety for its rapid results in increasing movement ability and improving overall performance. As such we are excited to provide this service directly to health club members and personal training clients through Ortho-Kinetics® Therapists who are licensed entities and certified ART practitioners.

MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques) is a relatively new, manual technique designed to increase proprioception and force production capabilities within the neuromuscular system. MAT utilizes a system of precision palpitations to help “activate” neuromuscular response and can produce immediate increased potential for muscle force production and improved joint stability and mobility. MAT also provides a great assessment method for evaluating joint function and unveiling the muscular imbalances linked with tissue restrictions, pain, and altered movement.
