Going out to eat in America commonly involves either various ethnic offerings or your classic steak dinner. Commonly, these ethnic offerings take form in Tex-Mex & Chinese. Within these styles, there are also obviously many iterations. There are also many “cuts” of steak ranging in size from 4-to-40 ounces. Let’s look at some of the more common examples of each and get an idea of how many calories we might be ingesting in a single meal. These calorie counts do not include a beverage unless stated.
